Do rechargeable bulbs charge while switched off?
They need electrical power to charge. If the lamp is switched off at the wall, the bulb cannot keep charging. Use a compatible lamp regularly and follow the charging time supplied for your model.
Is battery light as bright as normal light?
No. Our Classic six- and ten-pack bulbs produce 800 lumens on household power and less light on battery power. A lower battery setting lasts longer; each product page shows the available specifications.
Will they work in every lamp?
Check socket type, voltage, bulb dimensions and fixture instructions. A matching screw base does not establish compatibility with a wall dimmer, enclosed fixture or multi-bulb circuit. Test your intended setup before relying on the backup.
